Bags of Love

On November 8, 2009, LOVEshared and it’s volunteers gathered at the WILLIAMS KHERKHER building in South Houston to sort and bag hygiene related items that were being donated over the months leading up to this date.  That same day, we were able to distribute more then 150 bags to the homeless populating the downtown Houston area.  In addition to these bags, we had a table set up full of more then 300 sack lunches for the homeless individuals and families that were there.

There were many role players in this project that we would like to thank:

The Young Adults from Conroe Church of God 7th Day for donating the funds to prepare the lunches.

WILLIAMS KHERKHER, HART & BOUNDAS for allowing us to use their conference room as a sorting location and meeting point for our volunteers.

Our friends at New Hope Church in Pearland, TX for coming out and volunteering and collecting a vast amount of donations.

And all of our volunteers that showed up that day.  Without you, this project would not have happened.

We look forward to working with you again soon on future Bags of Love projects.
