Feed A Family – November 12 & 13, 2011


 

LOVEshared would like to partner with churches and communities everywhere to hold a non-perishible food drive from now until November 12th or 13th.

On November 12th or 13th, your church or community can gather to sort the food and bag it for needy families in your area. If you need help identifiying those in need, you can call the public schools in your area to see if they can give you a list of needy families or possibly even have a sign up sheet at the school for families who would like to sign up. If you are unable to identify needy families in your area, you can take your collection to your local food bank, where thousands of needy families are assisted every week.

We ask that you email us at info@loveshared.org if you plan on participating, so that we can keep a running list of every drop off center. Once we are in receipt of your email requesting to join in this event, we will send you an email confirming the authority to use our trademark, “LOVEshared,” for your fliers and banners in conjunction with the name of your own church or community organization. Your area will be posted on our website and Facebook page to help you get the word out to donors and volunteers.

It is our hope FEED A FAMILY become an annual LOVEshared event in your area (Please note, this is not limited to Houston, Texas).

If you would like to participate but are not sure if your community or church can get involved, please contact us at info@loveshared.org, and we can refer you to the closest church or community that will be participating so that you can join in their efforts.
